Biography

Kirsten Katzen, MPAS, PA-C is a graduate of the Physician Assistant program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She practiced Emergency Medicine at a designated level one trauma center for 12 years (Memorial Hermann UT-Health Science Center Houston) prior to joining the UT Southwestern PA department as an Assistant Professor. Her professional interests include Emergency Medicine, Trauma, Womens Health and Fertility, Ultrasound, and Interprofessional Development and Education for Physician Assistants. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants (TAPA).
