  • Biography

    Taylor Schaubschlager Jamshidi, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and a member of the Division of Nephrology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in nephrology, with a focus on onconephrology. Within onconephrology, Dr. Jamshidi offers comprehensive care to cancer patients whom are either at risk for or already experiencing kidney-related complications stemming from their cancer or its treatment. She collaborates closely with oncologists and hematologists to ensure integrated and optimal patient management.

    Dr. Jamshidi earned her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Broward Health Medical Center in Florida and received advanced training in nephrology through a fellowship at UT Southwestern, where she served as Chief Nephrology Fellow.

    Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022. She provides medical services at William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital and affiliated clinic. She also serves on the Nephrology Fellowship Core Competency Committee.

    She is a member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Onconephrology. In 2021, she received UT Southwestern’s Outstanding Nephrology Fellow Award.
