Biography

Naveed Khanjee, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of its Division of Endocrinology. His clinical interests include type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

Originally from Houston, Dr. Khanjee holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where he graduated magna cum laude, and completed internal medicine residency training at Baylor College of Medicine. He then received advanced training through a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at UT Southwestern, where he served as Chief Fellow.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Khanjee joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.

Dr. Khanjee is an active member of the Endocrine Society.
