He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. After that, he completed his residency in general surgery at Temple University Hospital, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Shih's clinical interests include aortic disease, including thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, aortic dissections, carotid artery disease, peripheral artery disease, and dialysis access. He has extensive experience in both open surgical and endovascular techniques in managing vascular disease. Dr. Shih strives to provide the utmost, individualized care using a combination of the above techniques along with non-operative care, tailored to each patient's needs.
