Dr. Karima Ali is originally from Long Island, New York. She attended college at the George Washington University where she double majored in Pure Mathematics and Religion. She completed her medical training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and then went on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. Karima is excited to start her career as a Hospitalist with Parkland Hospital and chose UTSW for its academic rigor and dedication to excellent patient care. Karima’s clinical interests include quality improvement and medical education. She enjoys hiking, traveling, learning about different cultures and food.
