Biography
Aakash Deshpande, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Deshpande holds a bachelor's in chemical engineering with a minor in chemistry from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis and completed internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Deshpande joined the UT Southwestern Faculty in 2022.
At UT Southwestern, Dr. Deshpande has been a member of the Residency Medical Education Committee and the Residency Nutrition Committee.
Dr. Deshpande is a member American College of Physicians and the Texas chapter of the American College of Physicians.
