  • Biography

    Joslyn Strebe, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine. Her clinical interests include infectious diseases, antimicrobial and diagnostic stewardship, and multidrug-resistant infectant infections.

    Dr. Strebe earned her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. She completed both internal medicine residency training and advanced training through an infectious diseases fellowship at UT Southwestern.

    Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.

    Dr. Strebe is active in several professional societies, including the American Society for Microbiology, the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of American, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America, where she serves on the Fellows Subcommittee. Her investigations have resulted in invitations to deliver national and regional lectures in addition to publications in peer-reviewed journals.

    Dr. Strebe's interests outside of medicine include reading, cooking, yoga, and spending time with her dog.
