  • Biography

    Priscila Campos, Ph.D., is an Instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine.

    Originally from Brazil, Dr. Campos earned her bachelor's degree, master's degree, and postdoctorate degree at Federal University of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizante, in Brazil.

    Dr. Campos' research background includes molecular biology, parasitology, microbiology and immunology. Her research efforts have resulted in numerous peer-reviewed publications, reviews, and book chapters.

    Dr. Campos is a member of the American Society for Microbiology.

    Personal Note

    Outside of medicine Dr. Campos' interests include enjoying her family and friends, reading, watching movies, and outdoor activities.
