Biography

Linsheng Guo, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases.

Originally from China, Dr. Guo earned his medical degree at Hubei Medical College in China. He then earned a master's degree in medical science at Tongji Medical University in Wuhan. He completed internal medicine residency training at Pufang General Hospital in Puqi, China, and Ochsner Clinic Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. He then completed advanced training through a fellowship in hepatology and liver transplants at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Arizona.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Guo joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2018. He is currently a staff physician at the North Texas VA Health Care System in Dallas.

Dr. Guo is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.

Personal Note

Dr. Guo’s interests outside of medicine include art collection and appreciation.
