  • Biography

    Jingbo Qiao, Ph.D., has been a key investigator for a number of studies, including ones that focused on neuroblastoma, a form of cancer that affects young children. She is also an author of dozens of journal articles about the microbiology of cancer. Dr. Qiao came to UT Southwestern in 2018 and serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery.

    Due to her extensive laboratory experience, she often trains students and residents in the department’s pediatric research lab. Dr. Qiao received her Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology from Kyoto University in Japan. She then completed post-doctoral fellowships at the National Institute of Agrobiological Sciences in Tsukuba, Japan, and at the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
