Biography
Dr. Smith received his undergraduate degree in psychology and master’s degree in experimental psychology from McNeese State University. Later, he completed his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University. He completed his predoctoral internship at Momentous Institute and postdoctoral fellowship in the Children’s Health Department of Outpatient Psychiatry. He joined the faculty of UT Southwestern as part of the Department of Psychiatry in the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in 2018. Dr. Smith’s clinical services focus on assessment of autism spectrum disorders in children and adolescents with a special interest in the assessment of young children. Dr. Smith is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas.
