Jenna Oppenheim, Psy.D. Assistant Professor School Medical School Department Psychiatry Graduate Programs Clinical Psychology Biography Jenna Oppenheim, PsyD, is a pediatric psychologist at Children's Medical Center Dallas. She received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, completed her internship in Pediatric/Clinical Child Psychology at Texas Child Study Center/Dell Children's Medical Center, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology with an emphasis in hematology/oncology at Children's Mercy Kansas City. Dr. Oppenheim provides clinical services within the Pauline Allen Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and serves both hematology and oncology service lines. She spends a portion of her time dedicated to the sickle cell disease team as part of the multidisciplinary adolescent transition clinic. Dr. Oppenheim's primary clinical interests include adjustment and coping with illness, managing emotional and behavioral needs within the context of a chronic illness, and serving as a consultant and liaison to medical teams. Her research interests are grounded in program development and quality improvement to further enhance provision of clinical care and processes.
