Biography

Michael Hwang, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine.

Originally from South Korea, Dr. Hwang holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He completed internal medicine residency training at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Dr. Hwang is a member of the American College of Physicians.

Personal Note

Dr. Hwang’s interests outside of medicine are basketball and traveling.
