Richard Wynn, Ph.D. Associate Professor School Medical School Department Internal Medicine | Biochemistry Biography Richard Wynn, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Biochemistry at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of General Internal Medicine. Originally from Levelland, Texas, Dr. Wynn holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. He also holds a master's degree in chemistry and biochemistry as well as his medical degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He completed postdoctoral work at the University of California-Berkeley. Dr. Wynn joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 1994 as an Assistant Professor. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2006. At UT Southwestern, Dr. Wynn is a medical school interviewer and a member of the Medical School Admissions Committee.
