Biography
Anna Tavakkoli, M.D., M.Sc., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases.
Originally from Lansing, Michigan, Dr. Tavakkoli earned her medical degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She then earned a master's degree in health and healthcare delivery at the University of Michigan. She completed internal medicine residency training at Columbia University. She then completed advanced training through fellowships in gastroenterology and advanced endoscopy at the University of Michigan.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in gastroenterology, Dr. Tavakkoli joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2018.
