Biography

Paul Lederer, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of its Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He is Director of the Medical ICU at the VA North Texas Heathcare System.

Dr. Lederer received his undergraduate degree in mathematics at the University of Virginia and his medical degree at the University of Louisville. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago, where he also completed his advanced training through fellowship in pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2017.

Dr. Lederer serves on the VA’s Critical Care and Code Review committees and is a member of the American Thoracic Society.
