Kiran Khan, M.D. Assistant Professor School Medical School Department Internal Medicine Biography Kiran Khan, M.D., M.P.H., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Nephrology. Dr. Khan completed her medical education at Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed internal medicine residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She completed advanced training through a fellowship in nephrology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She also earned a master's degree in public health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in nephrology, Dr. Khan joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021. Dr. Khan's research interest is nephrology and her clinical interest is transplant nephrology. She is the author of several research articles. Personal Note Outside of medicine, Dr. Khan enjoys cooking, attending the theater, traveling, and watching professional soccer.
