Biography

Dr. Saleh was born in Manama, Bahrain and grew up in Fairfax, Virginia. He received his medical degree from the University of Virginia and completed his internal medicine training at UT Southwestern. Building on his strong background in clinical informatics and data science, Dr. Saleh also works with the Clinical Informatics team at UT Southwestern. He sees himself in indelibly connected roles as both a practicing hospitalist physician and a clinical informaticist to advocate for his patients both on individual and systemic bases. His research interests include predictive analytics, data mining, social determinants of health, and informatics medical education. His hobbies outside of medicine include playing soccer and basketball, hiking, trying new teas, and monochromatic drawing.
