Biography

Mary Hon, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine.

Originally from Indianapolis, Dr. Hon holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and earned her medical degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. She completed internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center. 

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Hon joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2020.

At UT Southwestern, Dr. Hon is a member of the Supporting Women Achieving Greatness (SWAG) Committee.

Personal Note

Dr. Hon’s interests outside of medicine include horseback riding, cooking, and music.
