Biography
Emmanuel Johnson, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine. His clinical interests include quality improvement and socioeconomic determinants in health.
Originally from Carrollton, Georgia, Dr. Johnson received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville. He completed internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Before joining the faculty in 2023, he was an assistant professor of clinical medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Dr. Johnson is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine.
Personal Note
Outside of medicine, Dr. Johnson's interests include traveling, reading, fitness, and spending time with his family.
