Biography Arthur Hong, M.D., M.P.H., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of General Internal Medicine. He has a secondary appointment in Public Health. Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Hong holds a bachelor's degree with honors in economics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he also earned his medical degree. He completed internal medicine residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and then obtained advanced training through a fellowship in general internal medicine at the Harvard Medical School Department of Population Medicine. He also holds a master's degree in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Hong joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2017. Dr. Hong is a member of the Society of General Internal Medicine, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Academy of Health.
