  • Biography

    Juan Manuel "Juanma" Povedano Selfa, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Endocrinology.

    Originally from Spain, Dr. Povedano Selfa holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Alcala, and a master's degree in molecular biomedicine from the University of Autonoma of Madrid. He completed his doctoral degree with highest honors at the University Autonoma of Madrid.

    Before joining the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023, Dr. Povedano Selfa worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the David McFadden Lab.
