Michelle Christie, M.D.

Michelle Christie, M.D., is a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics as well as the Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Double board certified in neurology with special qualification in child neurology and clinical neurophysiology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019. She serves as Director of Neurophysiology at Scottish Rite for Children, her primary clinical practice location. 

Dr. Christie received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she also completed general pediatric and pediatric neurology training. After residency, she completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology.  

Her research focuses on hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP), holoprosencephaly (HPE), and Charcot-Marie-Tooth syndrome.
