Dr. Soe is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.  He obtained his medical degree at the Institute of Medicine (1), Yangon, Myanmar (Burma), and subsequently completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn NY.

He was a faculty member in General Internal Medicine (hospital medicine) at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and then in Endocrinology at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, OH before joining UT Southwestern Medical Center in September 2016. 

During his tenure at the Ohio State University, Dr.Soe involved in clinical trials related to diabetes, hypertension and thyroid nodules. The areas of his clinical interest are thyroid cancer, thyroid nodules, male hypogonadism and transgender care. He was inducted as a fellow of the American College of Physicians in 2014. He is also a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Diabetes Association. 

Outside of medicine, Dr.Soe has interest in cooking, travelling and reading history books.
