  • Biography

    Satyam Nayak, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine.

    Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Nayak holds a bachelor's degree in neurobiology from the University of Texas at Austin. He then completed a master's of public health in policy management and community health with a global health concentration at the UT Health Science Center School of Public Health. He earned his medical degree at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed internal medicine residency training at Weill Cornell Medical College at Cornell University in New York City, where he was Chief Resident.

    Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Nayak joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2016.

    Personal Note

    Dr. Nayak’s interests outside of medicine include traveling and enjoying food from around the world.
