Biography

Anamika Goenka, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of its Hospital Medicine Division who provides general medical services at Clements University Hospital.

Originally from India, Dr. Goenka completed her medical training at the University of Bombay's Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College University. She then received internal medicine residency training at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York.

Prior to joining the UT Southwestern faculty in 2016, Dr. Goenka served as a hospitalist at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville, Pennsylvania, and Lehigh Valley Hospital in Muhlenberg, Pennsylvania. In 2019, she became a clinical assistant professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Washington's Harborview Hospital in Seattle. She then joined the medical staff at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth before returning to UT Southwestern in 2022. 

During her free time, Dr. Goenka enjoys cooking, travelling and spending time with her family.
