Biography Shelly Heidelbaugh, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Heidelbaugh holds a bachelor's degree with special honors from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her medical degree and completed internal medicine residency training at The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Heidelbaugh joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2018. Dr. Heidelbaugh is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Texas Medical Association. Personal Note Dr. Heidelbaugh’s interests outside of medicine include spending time with family and backpacking.
