    Jane S. Chung, M.D., is a sports medicine physician at Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic and Sports Medicine center located in Frisco, Texas. She earned her medical degree at St. George's University School of Medicine.  She completed her internship and pediatric residency training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - New Orleans Children's Hospital. She completed a fellowship in pediatric sports medicine at the Case Medical Center and affiliated University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She is board-certified in pediatric medicine and sports medicine. She cares for young and growing athletes with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions affecting their ability to participate in sports and other activities. As a former dancer, Dr. Chung developed an interest in caring for female athletes. She is a member of the Female and Male Athlete Triad Coalition and frequently teaches healthcare professionals and the community about the risks of under-fueling for sports, stress fractures and female athlete triad.
