Biography

Harold Park, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of its Vascular & Interventional Radiology Division who also serves as Medical Director of Vascular Interventional Services. His clinical interests include interventional radiology and oncology procedures, as well as interventional pain management procedures.

Dr. Park holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, and a master's degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, and remained there to complete radiology residency training at Hahnemann University Hospital. He then obtained advanced training through a fellowship program in vascular and interventional radiology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.

Dr. Park's research interests include pulmonary arteriovenous malformations and pulmonary artery aneurysms.

At UT Southwestern, Dr. Park's commitment to patient safety is demonstrated by his participation in the Contrast Reaction Task Force.

He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Society of Interventional Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America.

Personal note

Dr. Park spends his free time playing lacrosse, basketball, golf, baseball, and volleyball, as well as hiking, cycling and running. He also enjoys attending live performances and live sporting events.
