Biography Dr. Igor Sorokin received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rutgers University, and in 2007 received his Doctor of Medicine from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at Albany Medical Center and then went on to do a 2-year Endourology and Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Sorokin joined the University of Massachusetts Faculty in 2018 where he became Associate Professor and The Director of Prostate Cancer. He then joined the faculty of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2024 where he holds the rank of Associate Professor. His publications include over 35 peer-reviewed articles; over 25 invited articles, editorials, and book chapters.
