Jeremy Chow, M.D.

Jeremy Yan-Shun Chow, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of the Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine. He specializes in HIV medicine.

Originally from Norfolk, Virginia, Dr. Chow holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Cornell University in New York, where he graduated cum laude in biological sciences and with distinction in all subjects. He earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed internal medicine residency training at Emory University in Atlanta and received advanced training in infectious disease and global HIV/AIDS prevention research through fellowships at the University of California-Los Angeles. He also holds a master’s degree in clinical research from UCLA.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Chow joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2016.

Dr. Chow’s research interests include HIV and sexually transmitted infection epidemiology, health services, and health disparities.

At UT Southwestern, Dr. Chow is a member of the Department of Medicine Billing Compliance Committee, the HIV Fellowship Clinical Competency Committee, the Department of Medicine Quality, Process Improvement and Outcomes Committee, and the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program Clinical Competency Committee.

Dr. Chow is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Infectious Diseases Society of America/HIV Medicine Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.
