Biography Farihah Perwez, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine. Originally from Jersey City, New Jersey, Dr. Perwez holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Rutgers University. She earned her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida. She completed internal medicine residency training at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Perwez joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2015.
