  • Biography

    Since 2023, Tadamoto (Tada) Isogai has been appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Lyda Hill Department of Bioinformatics. Dr. Isogai received his PhD degrees from The Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

    Dr. Isogai combines high-resolution 3D single cell imaging and computer vision-assisted quantitation to study how the cytoskeletal architecture organizes morphology-driven signaling for cancer cell survival in vitro and in vivo. 

    He further applies mathematical models inspired by financial economics to determine hierarchical information flow of genes embedded in complex molecular pathways with perturbation-free experimentation. Specific areas of interest include the regulation of actin-binding proteins in cell membrane protrusions.
