  • Biography

    Catherine Chen, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

    Dr. Chen earned her medical degree at Northwestern University in Chicago. She completed internal medicine residency training and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Washington University in St. Louis.

    Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Chen joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2015.

    Dr. Chen’s research interests include database analytics and predictive algorithms to improve patient outcomes in intensive care units.

    Dr. Chen is a member of the American Thoracic Society.
