Biography
Traci Adams, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
Originally from Houston, Dr. Adams holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and cell biology from Rice University in Houston. She received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She then obtained advanced training through a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at UT Southwestern.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine, Dr. Adams joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2018.
Dr. Adams is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Chest Physicians, the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, and the American Thoracic Society.
Dr. Adams' research activities include participation in several clinical trials related to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and interstitial lung disease.

Dr. Adams’ interests outside of medicine include spending time with her family and friends.
