Biography Download Curriculum Vitae Matthew Harrison, D.O., M.P.H. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in emergency medicine and public health. Dr. Harrison earned his medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and earned a master’s degree in public health at Dartmouth College – Geisel School of Medicine. Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023. Outside of work, Dr. Harrison enjoys spending time with his family, eating as much tasty food as he can, drinking way more craft coffee than he should, traveling, reading, practicing Tae Kwon Do, and generally goofing off.
