Biography Joined UT Southwestern: 2020 Clinical Interests: Dr. Blackburn sees patients in the Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Clinic in the Aston Ambulatory Care Center. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of rare autoimmune neurological disorders, including autoimmune encephalitis, stiff person syndrome, paraneoplastic neurological syndromes, and neurosarcoidosis. Research: His research focuses on developing new treatments and identifying new markers of disease activity in autoimmune neurological disorders to optimize management for these rare disorders. Education Activities: He is dedicated to resident fellow and serves as Program Director for the Neuroimmunology Fellowship, and Associate Program Director for the Adult Neurology Residency.
