Jennifer Deramo, MD, is a California native, raised in the small town of Bakersfield.  She completed undergraduate education at UCLA, majoring in biology and involved in Grave's Disease research at Jules Stein Eye Institute. She completed medical school at UC Davis where she was active in developing a free, medical student run clinic for Sacramento's homeless population and leading international medical trips to rural Honduras. She and her husband, currently a general surgery resident, moved to Texas together for residency, and she completed her pediatric residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center/Children's Medical Center in 2016.
