Biography

Dr. Saxon co-manages the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention program at the VA North Texas Health Care system. She serves as a national trainer within VHA for the Motivational Interviewing/Motivational Enhancement Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain Evidence Based Psychotherapy programs. She also serves as a Servant Leadership trainer with the National Center for Organizational Development. Clinically, she specializes in Clinical Health Psychology, with particular emphasis in the areas of non-pharmacological approaches to pain management and treatment of sleep disorders.
