Donald McIntire, Ph.D. Professor School Medical School Department Obstetrics and Gynecology Biography Dr. McIntire is a member of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. McIntire received his Ph.D. in statistics from Southern Methodist University in 1977. He worked in Family Practice and Community Medicine and at the Academic Computing Services at UT Southwestern before joining the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as the Manager of the Obstetrics Research Data Center in 1997. In 2017, with funding from the Simmons Sisters Fund, the new Obstetrical Quality and Research Center was formed as part of the Departments on-going commitment to measuring the efficacy and care we provide our obstetrical patients. A partnership between UT Southwestern and Parkland, the Center is a venue for health outcomes research, and Dr. McIntire serves as its biostatistician and quality management leader.
