Biography

Shu Zhang, Ph.D., an instructor in the Division of Medical Physics & Engineering, works to develop and apply MR imaging techniques to image-guided radiation therapy. She has extensive research experience in MRI sequence development, cancer imaging, and image processing.

Dr. Zhang received her Ph.D. from UT Southwestern where she worked on the technical developments and clinical applications of chemical exchange saturation transfer MRI. She subsequently joined The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and completed her postdoctoral training which was supported by the Odyssey Fellowship from the Cockrell Foundation.
