  • Biography

    Joshua Battley, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology and the Department of Neurological Surgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He cares for patients in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Clements University Hospital, Parkland Memorial Hospital, and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. 

     

    Dr. Battley earned a B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine and then completed residency training in Neurology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, IL. He then completed fellowship training in Neurocritical Care at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. 

     

    Dr. Battley joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023. His research interests include improving outcomes in intracerebral hemorrhage, noninvasive management of cerebral edema, and quantitative pupillometry.
