Biography Lee Anderson, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of its Division of Nephrology. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Dr. Anderson received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and completed internal medicine residency training at the Texas A&M College of Medicine- Scott and White in Temple. He then completed advanced training through fellowships in clinical nephrology and transplant nephrology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in nephrology, Dr. Anderson joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019. At UT Southwestern, Dr. Anderson is involved in multiple clinical trial activities, teaching activities, and lecture series. His investigations have resulted in a publication in Nolph and Gokal's Textbook of Peritoneal Dialysis, 4th Edition. Dr. Anderson is active in several professional societies, including the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nephrology, and the American Society of Transplantation.
