Biography
Dr. Leach is Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Leach graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Trinity University. He completed his medical studies as Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He received his specialty training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and by the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Leach is the author of many articles and chapters in several prestigious journals and textbooks. His research interests include control of wound healing and the development of bone substitutes. Dr. Leach specializes in facial aesthetic surgery, maxillofacial trauma, microvascular head and neck reconstruction and reanimation following facial paralysis. He has taught many post-graduate courses in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
