Biography
Roshni Patel, M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and is a member of their Division of Hospital Medicine-Parkland Health and Hospital System.
Dr. Patel grew up in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Harvard College with honors in Neurobiology. She completed her medical degree at UT Southwestern and graduated with a Distinction in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, and she stayed at UT Southwestern to complete her residency training in Internal Medicine.
She then joined the UT Southwestern Faculty in 2020 for the opportunity to continue working with the underserved population here in Dallas in an environment where she can continue to challenge and develop her clinical skills. Throughout her training she has been involved in research involving quality improvement as well as inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, Pilates, and has run several marathons.
