Biography Karanjit Kooner, M.D., Ph.D., MBA, is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the management and treatment of glaucoma and cataracts. After graduating from Dayanand Medical College in India, he completed his ophthamological training in Belgium and England. His glaucoma fellowship training was done at Ochsner Clinic and LSU Eye Center in New Orleans. His interests include the use of lasers and other surgical modalities in glaucoma and cataract treatment. Dr. Kooner believes in providing his glaucoma patients with a more holistic approach to managing the disease, including lifestyle changes like diet and exercise.
