His interests include aortic aneurysm surgery, amputation prevention, and complex dialysis access. Dr. Baig earned his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine, where he also performed his residency in general surgery. He received advanced training in vascular surgery through a fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Certified by the American Board of Surgery in vascular surgery, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2020. Dr. Baig has published numerous academic articles, delivered several presentations, and contributed to the eighth edition of Rutherford’s Vascular Surgery.
