Biography

Dr. Kevin Gray is the Director of the Geriatric Neuropsychiatry Clinic at the Veterans Affairs North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, Texas, and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Neurology at UT Southwestern. A Dallas native, Dr. Gray graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Indiana University and was elected class president while at UT Southwestern Medical School. Following an internship at Vanderbilt Hospital and a psychiatric residency at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, he completed a research fellowship in Neurobehavior and Geriatric Psychiatry at UCLA. Dr. Gray is a past-president of the Texas Geriatrics Society and has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters. Voted annually by his peers to the Best Doctors in America list, Dr. Gray has received awards for his teaching and lectures on a wide range of topics pertaining to optimal care for the elderly. Dr. Gray’s clinical and educational interests include improved clinical diagnosis and treatment methods for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Dr. Gray is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with added qualifications in Geriatric Psychiatry.
