Biography
Dr. Goyal is originally from India but grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. She received her initial medical training at UT Southwestern and completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her training she participated in an effort to create a novel clinical reasoning curriculum for medical students, and won awards for teaching and patient care. Her passion for teaching and academics led her to a career in Hospital Medicine at UT Southwestern where she hopes to continue efforts to improve medical education. Outside of medicine she enjoys spending time with family, traveling and reading.
