Biography
Dr. Block is originally from Dallas, Texas and received his medical training at Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York. While there, he focused on quality improvement and systems learning. He returned to Dallas, to UT Southwestern, for his residency in Internal Medicine. He stayed at UTSW/Parkland for the opportunity to treat the underserved population here. He is excited to work more closely with Parkland leadership to help improve the quality, consistency, and continuity of care that these patients receive. Dr. Block's interests outside of medicine include reading, playing soccer, and playing video games.
